I Refuse - So Many

So many times I thought I couldn’t get through
So many times I thought there’s nothing good I can do
I’d just sit bit myself and hear the wind blow
Not to acknowledge all the great things I could know
Why was I weak? Why couldn’t I rise up ?
So many bad times where I could’ve said “Enough!”
I know not everything will be right – That it won’t go my way
But then there comes a time where you have to come out and say ..

I refuse to be weak - I refuse to stay down !
Nothing will hold me back or to the ground !
I came to my senses I know what I’m looking for ..
If I’m looking for a change, I have to knock on His door
He’s watching over me, every single day
He knows I’m in trouble, He just wants me to say
I need to know the Almighty God, what wonders He can do
I refuse to live in my bad past. I’m through.

I had to find Jesus. He picked me out of my problems
I couldn’t go through alone. That’s not how you solve them
I’ve seen the testimonies.. How could I not believe ?
They can’t make things like that up. I guess I’m not deceived
Well, I know who He is. I can’t give up on Lord
He’s done so much for me. I can never be bored
His light is my armour, the Word being my sword
The war still goes on. I’ll fight on His accord

So many times people try to ridicule what He does
Nobody notices what gifts have been sent from above
I know what I have to do, to stay on the Right side
Calling upon Him to help me out is how I survive
I refuse to be touched by something I see no benefit in
I seek the Holy Spirit, for it to be within
Who knows what I’ll get? Who knows what I’ll gain ?
All that I know is that my life will never be the same

I refuse to stay silent - I won't hide away
How could I give up on the greatest thing of Today ?
So many losers are out on this earth
I refuse to forget how much You really are worth
Change from the inside - Negativity was out
Change from the outside - Got no time for doubt
I'm not willing to give in to the things of this planet
Those sins I had before I refuse to remain a habit !
