Spiritual Reflection

Don't get caught in all the 'must-haves' you see
That you forget the meaning of your life that was meant to be
Praising & living abundantly - in humility
"For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he"
To keep away from darkness is your self-security
To be washed by His blood, to bring out new purity
To abide & believe, He delights indeed
To be a follower of the LORD & believe the unseen
The flesh that we live in is just a shell
But it keeps working against us, dragging down to hell
Sins try to keep us trapped, locked up in a cell
Even the minor ones that you can't tell
When we keep allowing them, we're left under a spell
A spell of darkness we need to repel
"God knows how weak we are", so He sends an angel
He wants the best for us, for us all to excell
In the greats, in the pain, even when we fell

We're just a prayer away. When they hear us, the angels are silent
To listen for the problems - they don't like the violence
That's in our hearts & minds, feeling like we're away from His prescence
But to know He's still around? That's the greatest present
When you hear the truth, He's speaking out from Heaven
Don't ignore His words, just listen in & tell 'em
There's a warning that comes down if you refuse the wisdom
Walking the path that leads away from His Kingdom
"My bretheren, be strong in the LORD"
Wear the full armour of God, the Word is your sword
It doesn't really matter what can/can't afford
Give your best of the time, trust & love to The One who's big & bold
Live out the new things, don't just repeat & record
It's the action that you take that breaks down the walls
Keep doing what God asks & listen out for His calls
The calls that are for you.. Don't ignore them or keep them on record

You can't recognise yourself being wrapped up in anger
Makes you feel like things won't get any better
Falling off the ladder
Getting eveen sadder
When you can't let go, it only makes you madder
Let Him fill you up with His Holy Spirit & fire
He'll re-ignite your life for that one true desire
Nothing's bigger than God - He's wayy mightier
"Faith is the substance for things hope for
The evidence of things not seen" - To receive more
But not only that, also to give more
Walking with Christ in faith, to help you soar
He'll never give you more than you can endure
He's always checking up on you, for yourself to be sure
That if anything happens, you'll be knocking on His door
Even if you fall, His love keeps us from the floor

Continue to praise
Seek His face
Let Him be your First Place
Because He gave us mercy & grace
God'll never make it hard, like some wild goose-chase
Run to Him now! To His embrace
The One made both Time & Space
Just keep it real & do whatever it takes
It might take a while, but try to be happy now
You have God's love. Let's make others know it somehow
All of His wonders leave me in a "WOW"
We can't allow certain events to leave us in doubt
As soon as that mindsets kicks in, just kick it back out
Only God, we're nothing without

Look after one another & let God look after you
Prayer's a key tool & I hope He lives in you
Please keep walking, 'cause our God is talking
Keep the faith strong & confide in the Father & King
He died for us, that we may be free
He gave us the joy to live life abundantly
Let God help you finish what was started
Share what you can to the lost & broken-hearted

My Appeal

This is my Appeal & I want to reach out to you
About something that I deeply encourage you to do
Yes, it's about Jesus. I want you to know the truth
So it's going out to everyone. I hope it touches you
You're seeking happiness & love in material things
Even the one that are immoral things
But I encourage you now to be reading the Word
What God us to say & do, I'm making some of it heard
Yes, I say some because others have been done
We're all reaching out through God's call, one-by-one
Trust in the Lord. Trust & believe
Don't let it be something that just rubs off your sleeve

You think it's not your thing? No, that's not true
The Bible is for everyone, so how could it miss you ?
Right throughout the Book, there's many things on love
The love we can show. Jesus does that too - Beautiful like a dove
Our lives on here are gifts from above
The Word can be our sword when things get rough
He's trying to touch your heart, so please let Him in
Believe in His teachings & turn away from the pointless things
Jesus is always there to cast your troubles out
Because He doesn't like it when all you do is cry or shout
Or be hurting each other with deeds or actions that destroy one another
Jesus loves us all, that we're strong together
Remaining as one for as long as forever
Why keep with fighting when we can be united
With our Saviour? Let's not be imparted
Break out from all this & just come to Him
Because He DIED for us, that we may be free from sin
That's where the true love begins

You have the power to change, but you can't do it alone
So just take up the chance & don't become exposed
To the breaks & the pains that'll try to destroy you
The Lord's waiting for you now, allow Him to help you
Accept Him in your life & apply His teachings
For by reading & applying comes multiple blessings
So learn to forgive, to pray, to guide, to help
To be free, to be changed. Not broken, or by yourself

He wants to lead you with peace in your hearts
To help change your life, so that real happiness & strength starts
Allow yourself to come to Him]To be savedby His grace from a future that's dim
Everyone wants to be a blessing or inspiring
So be lead by the one of examples & apply
That when trouble is coming, you won't be in a rage or cry

Let your eyes be kept on the road ahead
Make your destination Christ. Human desires are dead
He'll save you from trials when you put Him in control
We're not here forever, but Jesus individually decides our next home
Whatever we dream, eventually we may get
But if they're not of Christ, change them to Him instead
The answers are found in His Word
That when you study, meditate & apply, the light is by your side
Fight the temptatiojns of this earth
To gain the best from our Father, with much greater worth


This poem is based on a couple of scriptures which I thought would be good for me to include in this. Yes, you can't see Jesus. But that doesn't mean He doesn't exist. Ephesians 3: 20 says that, "God can do... far more than you could ever imagine". If you just have faith in Him, you're going to get way better than you initially thought in your life! And then we have Proverbs 11: 14 - This scripture tells us on the things that we THINK are harmless enough. But then, it leads straight to hell. So you may not believe in Heaven or hell. But there is a Day of Judgement where you'll stand before God. What then will you say? No excuses will be accepted. The same goes for me & EVERYONE else! But eternal life lies in those who live to do God's will, which is Matthew 7: 21. The Bible is the truth. The Lord is the Way, the Truth & the Life! Be united with Christ & see the change in your life!

Focus

So many want to be fixed to You
And help other be fixed on You, too
We should be fixed onto You, the True
Feeling fresh each day, like the morning dew
I don't want to leave them without a clue
I can't let them fail, 'cause they haven't found You
If I was their friend, then I would attempt to
Tell them more of You. Let them know, that You again are true
I don't want to wait for the time to come
For them to take back all of the fun
They made against You, our Father's Son
I know it's not too late. That's why I look to the sky
After all of those attempts, I'm not just going to say "Why?"
They need to know You, therefore I will always try
So they surrender to You. So they'll never need to sadly cry
No matter what's being said, I shall never give in
Even if the friendship is hanging thin
I'll gladly trade it all for them to know Him
But I can only try so hard to stop a future being dim

Ima keep my eyes on You, 'cause You always know what to do
You what my intentions are, where I want to head to
I won't be taken off! I know I'll always need You
I've given everything to You.. But I don't know what they'll do
It kinda hurts, when they're saying Your Name..
Only when they go to say it in vain
Misusing it's power, "I don't care" they proclaim
But this is just one mission - My focus is in the game
I'm looking at one point, like my journeys on a train
I've received many blessings. It's their turn to gain
It won't be something to drive them insane
And Your name will no longer be used just to entertain
I'm keeping my focus, right on the Glorious
If we can't follow You, what'll become of us ?
It's getting harder each time.. But in God, we trust
They'll give over to You, before the time's up
Their lives shouldn't be corrupt, anger shouldn't have to erupt
Bring shalom! Let nothing interrupt
What His name will bring. May You & ourselves never be cut

We can only try so hard, but it shows that we're strong
We know what we're doing. We were your friends all along
We tell you the truth! But you sang the same song
Of contradiction & refusal. Just share our shalom
We were to be saved from the day Jesus was born
The way God loved us, we could never be torn
Why mock God? Why send up all the scorn ?
It isn't cool for insults to be worn..
All around you. Just ask yourself where you're going
We're doing our best to help you, to get you knowing
All good deeds through Him.. You'll reap what you're sewing
From the inside to the outside, you'll always be glowing
True joy is from Jesus. From inside you won't burn
Then when you see pain, you'll know it's your turn
To pray it away from all. Great blessing you'll earn
Trying to think of excuses against Jesus & God is no longer your concern

It's easy to be confused, 'cause we're hearing different things
But keep a strong mind & keep your love like rings
Just like Jesus, because His love never ends
He'll never give you more than you can handle. That's what He intends
Not to apply pressure, but strong focus on our Saviour
It won't hurt you hard like a careless out of control razor
People will look up to you. You'll be an inspireror*
Through Him, you'll earn every good thing you desire
It can't be stressed enough - Love Him ENTIRELY
Watch how everything becomes how it's supposed to be
Allow Him to take control & then you'll see..
All God's got planned for you. You'll be blessed abundantly
Obstacles will come in this race you'll run
So don't just do things because it "seems fun"
God'll help you overcome & says the words "Well done !"
And it'll all happen because you focused on Jesus, God's Son

Keeping the faith alive is just one factor of Heaven
Believe in Jesus. Believe that He is risen
Keep Him in your heart & mind to overcome temptation
These tests you get through make up your Testimony
Read, study & apply the Word. Don't be a phony
Keep in touch with God to receive all His glory
Pass it on to others.. Life can be more than a story

Love & Unity pt. 2

With God, we'll take the next step together
We'll go to the end & remain as one forever
I don't want you to ever give up
I have never dreamt for you to be stuck
As long as you've got the chance to keep moving up
I know that you're blessed, so I wish you the best of luck
God's given you strength & He's given you friends
But keep God as number 1 even after the end
I've got your back. If we argue, let's make amends
God's got you too. Letting you down is never what He intends

Never give up on your dreams or ambitions
God, my friend, made you a special edition
Maintaining hope for them increases the chances for them to happen
But keep the treasures pure store those in Heaven
Pain is something that's only temporary
But hope is something that can go on forever
Love is something that's completely amazing
But don't play about with the blessings you're given..
..That's something that isn't clever

I'll do my best to be there, walking with you
But God is watching over, whatever you do
No matter what happens, don't forever be sad
Keep your mind positive that you'll always stay glad
You can't ever believe that you're a failure
You're still living because you have a Saviour
But you have to call on Him. Let yourself be cleansed
There will be rough times, but there's always a solution to them
Keep your head up and keep on going
Because right through you, His light & glory is showing

Life is important... Do the right things and be grateful
For the good times that you've had. Be insightful
Once you put God in control, you'll keep standing strong
Don't be 'independent' all the time or you won't be standing for long
"Stand firm in your faith, or you won't stand at all"
Isaiah 7:9. That's just one of many more
Of how you should apply to keep yourself walking
I wish all the best for you, so take a bit more reflecting

To man, some things may be impossible
But to God? Everything is possible
So what's the need to worry? Just send it to our daddy
If He thinks you can cope, He'll give it to you gladly

To ask for the guidance of the Lord, our Saviour

The Words from Your Word, they will include

Just One Thought

Just one thought needs to enter our minds
Something that totals up the glee inside
That one thought will always help us decide
What next we really want to do in our lives
That one thought fires up our determination
That one thought fires up our acceleration
To our choices.. We can make a declaration
That the best thoughts after will be reality
The Spirit is there.. Inside you & me
Who knows? That just one thought could help us make history
We should only aim for the best. The way that it should be
Just one thought can make us strong
That thought is The One that was with us all along
We need to bring up hopes. Help those who think or do wrong
It ain't cool to leave one behind, since we're all born to be Champions

That one thought is of The One who's in control

Keep focused on the goals, & you shouldn't be barged

All of the cars, jewelry, clothes - They shouldn't matter

That one thought helps us set our goals
It always reminds us of The One who's in control
I've given my life to Him. I gladly trade it all
For His love & mercy.. Although I don't really deserve it at all
That one thought has made me who I am
I aiming to be the best I can. I know that I ain't "kalam"
There's so much I'm aiming for, but I know I can
That thought is fixed. For God, I'm a big fan
I don't intend to fall back now I have just that one thought
God helped me fight. To Him, my sacrifices, I brought
By "fight", I mean in Spirit. By the darkness, we can't be caught
But that doesn't really mean that we're clear from future faults
That one thought should be there in our hearts
When it's fixed there, we can never break apart
From God's love. Let's not keep it to ourselves
Let's reach to those crying out for something. Let's give them the help

Pride

We don’t see it, but it enters like an open door
You heard the stories, but jheez - it can do much more
It’s taking over quick.. It grips you like a claw
The way it traps us, it’s liked we’re pinned down to the floor
It can destroy.. It changes you an instant
When you realise, you feel like a sad infant
When you think about God, you think He’s distant
But pride continues to live.. Wow, it’s so ancient!
You think you’re great, but that just be plain ignorance
But when your heart is open, it’s such a distance
With your mother, your father, your brothers or your sisters
To get their love back – It’s hurting like blisters
You see the way that it works, but it’s never too late
It may have come to you once, but it just ain’t your fate
Our God is still looking out, He knows your true intention
If it’s to help or to break. He just wants your attention
So keep a look out for this. It just won’t ever stop
It’s working 24/7. Yep, it goes round the clock
Meditate on your thoughts. Don’t let your heart be rock
Make sure you’re praying to God, so that you won’t get blocked!

I’m pleading out to my God! “I don’t know what to do!
I didn’t see this coming – Please my God, get me through!
It’s weird how it hurts who love, but also myself too...
My heart just feels so tight, don’t let it stick like glue
I need your help now my Father, please I’m begging You!”
I’m crying on my bed – Why did it choose me?
This ain’t what I wanted – I just want to be free
I just wanted to help, but I couldn’t explain
I see Mum sitting there.. Crying through all the pain
The pain that I caused her.. I just can’t stand that sight
When I saw that reaction, it gave me such a fright
And then I’m running around, I’m praying but there’s no sound
It felt like He weren’t around – I risked all to be “right”
I didn’t think to consider how they all would take it
But when heard it come out, there’s no way I could fake it
Fake myself being sad? All of this, I never wanted
I hate the way that pride works – I felt so haunted!
It took a while to recover, but now I’m back to praise
I won’t delay to keep away from all of pride’s displays
I’m not prepared to be going through that phase again

I don't like the way we're going through this pain
I hate the way that I'm tired through all of this strain

I'm keeping up with God, He's gonna help me soar
And I look to the sky, I put my trust in Him

You're not just Lord & Saviour. You're definitely my King

I'm not prepared to go back to the life that was such a mess

Never Alone

So I'm walking down the street & everyone I meet
Has got something inside that makes 'em feel alive
It's spreading through the air, it's going everywhere
And that's all 'cause we know our Father is right there
We're always seeking Him & the answers are in front
He gives it to us straight. Sincere - Not ever blunt
We were deep inside our pit, but then we said enough
God'll always see us through when things are getting rough
I'm looking at the people.. Their's joy in all their hearts
It's something so strong. It can never break apart
There's so much glee around. There-there is so much glee
Because the Holy Spirit now, is here with you & me
So we're all blessed in our own way
With a special gift to use this day
He's with us all. That's what I say
His light shines through, so we just can't stray

Now, we have been through so much
But when we feel Your touch
What else can we do? 'Cause we're nothing without You
There's the day we see Your face
And if it weren't for Your embrace
I would never be able to see, that it's You who's inside me

I know I'm not my own, that I belong to You
And we focus on Your mercy, because we know Your word is true
We've strayed from You before, but You called us to come home

Now we praise You everyday, to my feet, I humbly bow
Because we live to serve You, Lord - Please take over us now
So continue to see us through to Heaven above there

The Year Shift

I can’t explain all the things that happened in that year
I can’t contain all the things He helped me with down here
I can’t believe how He managed to remove all the fear
I can’t believe how everything just seems to become clear
He was good to me, or I couldn’t do this
I’m determined to change. The old life, I won’t miss
I know what I’m aiming for. So please don’t diss
All I got to say. But if you do, I just say “tsk tsk”
But of course, I’m not going to react
Ima “turn the other cheek” – Matthew 5:39 fact
I’m determined to keep this year in tact
No matter what happens now, I’m not going to crack
Because the Lord’s made me strong. I know what I need
Just His love. That’s all. I want to plant a good seed
But there’s many who want to uproot it. I’ll take heed
I won’t do anything for greed. Ima help others succeed
Everything’s changing now, I want this to be new
What things await me this year? I have no clue
June ’10 was when all my mistakes were seeping through
But then I opened up my heart & decided to seek You
I’m grateful that my best friend was looking out for me
If I didn’t get that chance then, what good thing is there to see?
He’s just one I look up to. I now know who I will be
Successful is the word. Because I was taught to just be me
I’d be heading for ruin if I didn’t make that decision
To the Lord, I grant admission
Into my heart, He shall lead my life
No matter what happens now, I’ll have no strife
Never again will I look back to be like that
I’ve come too far to fall again on my back
I’m not going to leave myself hanging on a rack
As I reflect on this year, these few months put me on track
If I was ever to shed a tear
It’ll be me having a moment with the one I hold dear
Dear to my heart, where He should be

Since I found Him in June, I know where I belong

Cast it to the Lord, because all battles are with Him
Just be strong & share the love from within
Don’t worry about anyone else who’s around
Get your salvation & get up from the ground
Your life is a blessing. But things will be tough
But we weren’t made to give up when things got rough
He knows we can do it. We were made warriors
We can win this war, because He’s our Saviour
New Year’s Resolutions? No, don’t be on that
Go & get your goals.. Be vigilant like a cat
Why bother making promises you’ll struggle to keep?
Don’t stress yourself out with things that’ll break in weeks
Use your faith.. And see the outcome
You’ll be rewarded so much & then some
This year for us all won’t be fun & games
But we were made strong. Because He broke our chains
I sacrificed it all to Him. My mind, heart, life & soul
He’s looking out for me. Ima get through it all

Don’t just wait until a new day / new week / new month / new year to make up for the mistakes. You should do it at an instant. That’s how you progress – by doing. Waiting gets you nowhere. So make sure you know what you want to happen. Use your faith, make goals & GO FOR IT! Bless everyone :)

Take The Stage - It's Your Show

I don't wanna take the fame. You be centre stage
All the glory's for You. You're on a better page
I'm lower than Yourself. I don't deserve the grace
But You died to save me - To make the sins erase

I'm loving what I do, I find it blessed & fun
But because it is for You, I refuse to block the Son
I want the whole world to know what I do is for You
To receive all the praise is not my aim to do
You're suited to be boss. The headliner for the show
I'll just introduce You, then backstage I'll go
I'll gladly give it up - The praise isn't for me
I send it all to You, as my thanks for blessing me

"Please", I ask. "Please take to the stage..
Just seeing You there will put a smile on their face"
And then I jump to the side, but no, not to hide
It's show that He's the one that's living inside
I'm not ashamed to show.. Let the whole world see
That You're the one that inspires me
Make me small, then I'll watch from a table

I've had my time to share my gifts
But it's Your show now. I'm moving out of the lift
Prepare us for the arrival - Away I'll then shift

Falling, Fighting, Finding - There Came A Time

There came a time where we couldn’t rise
..Rise up to the challenge. We wouldn’t try
If we wanted to do something, do it on the sly
When we missed the chance, we’d just cry
Cry for ages. It moves on away & says “Bye”
We look up to the sky & we say “Why..?”
We’d end up feeling destroyed inside
From the rest of the world, we try & hide
There was too much in us. By that, I mean pride
We shouldn’t have that. We need to decide
We can’t allow ourselves to be kicked to the side
We shouldn’t be falling. Up to Heaven, we should climb

There came a time when we were weak
..So weak, that we wouldn’t bother to speak
Nothing seemed to matter. We became meek
We’d be disturbed by the simplest creak
We shy ourselves away. The hurt was too deep
The things that scared the most wouldn’t make us “Eep!”
We’re listening out. They’re saying, “What a creep...”
No matter what we reaped, nothing good was reaped
But I tell you now, you have to be strong
“Keep the faith alive” – You’re not in the wrong
Pick yourself up. Get to sing that song
Your place is reserved. Earn the place where you belong
Don’t allow yourself to be taken down
Your true ones are going to be around
They & God will lift you from the ground
Keep fighting for the Father. He’ll keep you safe & sound

There came a time when we got lost
The time when we needed someone the most
I don’t mean in the house, where you may have a host
Nope, I mean like the sea. Lost at the coast
Yes, that type of lost. Easily swept away
Getting distracted from truth.  Confusion each day
So many voices in our head. Making us insane
It’s like being swept away by some large crane
Everything’s causing the heart a lot of pain
But there’s a Special One we need to find
Let’s knock on His door. I’m sure He won’t mind
He loves us so much, He’ll invite us inside
Let’s ask him to lead us. The Perfect Guide
He’s the Best Friend Forever. We're never on the side

Fight Your 'Ego'

In that reflection, I can see who it be
It mocks me in my face - I'm being held back by me
Everything that happened, it's because of him
All of those issues.. He was leading me to sin
But wait.. Why say him? It's still on myself
I never tried to change. I never looked for help
My true self was just left to be on the shelf
I was feeling alone.. There was noone else
Well, that's what I thought. I didn't know Him well
But that ego of mine was trying to drag me to hell
I had no control. It's like it put me in a spell
I tried to break out, but it was like being in a cell

We're getting in a battle, but who will get through?
I mean come on now, it's You vs You!
How is that possible - What can I do?
Count on the Lord. He always makes a breakthrough
So I'm staring in the eyes. You may think I'm mad
This will be one of the toughest I've ever had
But no matter what happens, I refuse to be sad
I can't let IT win. Ima make my True Master glad
I'm grabbing my chest. Grabbing it tight
I'm pulling apart. With all of my might
..Like the dark Spiderman. I gotta be free
If I don't fight IT now, what will become of me?

I'm done with all of that. You had your fun
I can't keep on this mask. I'm saying that you're done!
I know what Ima do & it definitely isn't to run
But when I rebuke it all, I won't be the hidden one
I'm staying true to myself. I can't lose this war
I'm letting God in control. He's gonna help me soar
I'm not gonna allow you to pin me to the floor
Wherever I'm going, they're not gonna see you
I won't give in to the flesh.. I just can't lose
I'm going with God now. The good life, I choose
In spite of who I was, He's keeping me strong
He'll help me win the battles. I'm lifted from those wrongs

In that reflection, I can see that face
It greets my arrival.. Like a lovely embrace
Everything that will happen, it'll be for my King
No more issues here. He's cured everything
There's just one of me now. I'm no longer a shell
I get stronger each day. God's wishing me well
My true self isn't alone the shelf
I can't be lonely. He's my "everyone else"
This is what I know. The spirit's in us all

The Journey - Faith Hope Love pt. 2

Everyone’s life is their own journey
Some set off for the extraordinary quite early
Will there be troubles along the way? Yes, definitely
But don’t try & avoid. Defeat them separately
It’s easy to get lost along the way
We lose hope in what we love for many days
A flood will come along & swoop us away
All the obstacles making us go insane

Some have their journey through visual events
Much of what they see is time well spent
It doesn’t matter to them how the earlier day went
They’re looking through the window & their dreams are sent
..Sent out to the world. They want to reach out to those
That possibly don’t know where their life will go
They’re looking through the window, but staying there
Noone doesn’t even seem to care

But that’s the point. That’s what we need to do
Our journey may be fine, but people need help too
You & I will need it as well. So why isolate ?
Everyone has got a dream they want to create
Let’s help on their journey. I’m sure they’ll need a mate
Help them break free from fear. Break out of those gates
It’s a shame that some of them don’t want to express
All of the things they love – The fear of making a mess
Of it all. They don’t want to take that test
They won’t amount to anything, unlike the rest
Yes, we’ve got our own paths. But we need to show love
Let them know their life is a blessing from above
They will become great. They’ll learn from another’s success
Then when they do what love, they’ll perform at their best

But of course, if there’s many obstacles in your place
Overcome them. You’re an achiever, but don’t make haste
Yes, of course we’re all taking part in that race
But uproot the problems first. And then go at your own pace
Don’t ever hold back from thinking large
It’s them type of things that give the supercharge
Go for the opportunities. Don’t be barged
Never give up on it, no matter how hard
Make that decision. It’s now or never
Be strong enough to handle each endeavour
But don’t do it for your own selfish pleasure
Do it for faith & strength. That’s what makes you clever
Look out for those that are in dark weather
Give them a hand. They also matter
It’s all about Love. That brings us together
Love is something you should keep forever

The Journey - Faith Hope Love pt. 1

We journey from the past & into the now
A good future comes your way, so turn the frown around
We've got Jesus with us, He'll never let us down
Take the Journey with me. Walk with Faith so you keep abound

We start from when we're young.. Didn't know a lot
" Is Jesus really there? Do we praise? Do we stop? "
" How do we believe in someone we can't see? "
You don't need to see Him to know He is with thee
So then, we're getting older - It starts to make more sense
He knows the way to comfort us whenever we feel tense
When we're wrapped in His embrace, the Love feels so dense
We feel Jesus around, we know for sure that we're blessed

The 5th chapter of Romans & 11th of Hebrews
What's the main point? The title gives the clues
Through reading things like this, I know what to include ..
To make my journey stronger.. My Bible works as my food
I'm not just saying this. I'm speaking the truth
I'm trying to reach out to the rest of the Youth
To make out Father happy is what we all strive
Let's keep working hard, with Him to Eternal Life

Hope is within us all - We know that He will come back
Do we or Jesus know when? Nope, only God knows that
Matthew 24: 36 - 44. When we open up the Bible, it's never a bore
We don't get distracted when a knock comes at the door
But it's no good just studying. We have to act on the Words too
Don't let the Father of Lies get the better of you
Keep your Hope & Faith in the Lord. He will see you through

When we put the Commandments together, the message is Love
Keep your Love for everyone as pure as a dove
No matter what they did, you should never hold a grudge
Open up your heart.. Show love & don't budge
What do I mean by "Show love & don't budge" ?
No matter the situation, you have to stay strong
"Turn the other cheek", for you won't be in the wrong
Continue to be nice, continue to share the Love
For the fight is not with you.. But with our Father above

And so, I conclude this talk. With God, enjoy your walk
Have Him born in your heart & you won't break apart
Look to the future -" The future's bright ", they say
Let the Lord's light guide you. You'll have many great days

Satan, I’ll admit. To you, I was once a slave
But I’m not hooked to you. To God, my life I gave !

At first, I knew nothing. Blinded by emotion .
It came to a time where a gave my full devotion !
To Him. My God. The One who has created me ..
What I was blinded by, I emerged out to see .
I know where I’m at. I’m not going to flee .
It’s only to The One. It’s Him I want to please ..
Why? Because of Him. What I’ve learnt has been a thrill !
Whatever You shall call on me to do, I will .

I use direct address. I’m talking to you .
Have any idea what Jesus can do ?
I’ll tell you now, He’s set me free .
I’m only speaking the truth – Never been more happy .
I learn from the best. The helped me through the fight ..
Since I’m a Warrior of God, I fight with all my might .
If that sounds weird, then ok, you can go .
I’ll just say something obvious.. He loves you, you know .

God has His plans, God has His will ..
I’m going to work for my God. I will do His will .
I know who I’m seeking. D’you know what I mean ?
Look forward to your future. You’ll start living the dream !
Keep your head clear, always be sincere ,
Know who you’re with, who should be cut ,
Don’t be held back now, ya hear ?

His needs before mine. I know what I should do .
I want to give my best. It all belongs to You .
I have no time limit. I'll always show my praise ,
Satan’s “got me trapped. Trapped in a maze”
I’m sorting all that out. It must be in craze ..
Can’t handle the Fire. Can’t handle the blaze .
It thinks I’m in denial. That I’m going to fail .
Meh, failure isn’t an option. I know I will prevail !

They’re hiding in the shadows.. Seeking me & you ..
Look up to the Lord. That’s what we should do .
His light is our Shield. Pray hard in His name !

I Refuse - So Many

So many times I thought I couldn’t get through
So many times I thought there’s nothing good I can do
I’d just sit bit myself and hear the wind blow
Not to acknowledge all the great things I could know
Why was I weak? Why couldn’t I rise up ?
So many bad times where I could’ve said “Enough!”
I know not everything will be right – That it won’t go my way
But then there comes a time where you have to come out and say ..

I refuse to be weak - I refuse to stay down !
Nothing will hold me back or to the ground !
I came to my senses I know what I’m looking for ..
If I’m looking for a change, I have to knock on His door
He’s watching over me, every single day
He knows I’m in trouble, He just wants me to say
I need to know the Almighty God, what wonders He can do
I refuse to live in my bad past. I’m through.

I had to find Jesus. He picked me out of my problems
I couldn’t go through alone. That’s not how you solve them
I’ve seen the testimonies.. How could I not believe ?
They can’t make things like that up. I guess I’m not deceived
Well, I know who He is. I can’t give up on Lord
He’s done so much for me. I can never be bored
His light is my armour, the Word being my sword
The war still goes on. I’ll fight on His accord

So many times people try to ridicule what He does
Nobody notices what gifts have been sent from above
I know what I have to do, to stay on the Right side
Calling upon Him to help me out is how I survive
I refuse to be touched by something I see no benefit in
I seek the Holy Spirit, for it to be within
Who knows what I’ll get? Who knows what I’ll gain ?
All that I know is that my life will never be the same

I refuse to stay silent - I won't hide away
How could I give up on the greatest thing of Today ?
So many losers are out on this earth
I refuse to forget how much You really are worth
Change from the inside - Negativity was out
Change from the outside - Got no time for doubt
I'm not willing to give in to the things of this planet
Those sins I had before I refuse to remain a habit !

I know it's You, my God. I'll make sure it doesn't go to waste .

My God, I have never been more thankful - That's what I want to say .

Who is it that heard every cry I made in my life ?
Who is it that came down to relieve all of my strife ?

You took out all the bad thoughts so I may praise Your name ..
You took away all of the sorrows that had me trapped in flames ..

I'm really greatful that You came down for my life to change .

What is it makes me look upwards and say "Oh wow" ?
The Almighty God and I just want to thank Him right now .
Nothing can seperate me from what He has in store ..

No force on Earth can hold me back - I say the War begins !

You built me up, You built me strong - There's nothing You can't do ..
There is no way that I'd be able to pay all back to You .
I just know that I have given all of myself to Thee -
