My thoughts of the Riots.

So much destruction
Causing stress and disdain
Many are in fear and thinking
When's it all gonna happen again ??
Evil's breaking out to tear everything apart
But God is still dwelling inside His people's hearts
Why do you want to go and take part in this senseless
Careless nonsense? It makes no sense
You are making people tense
Unsafe in their own communities
Where they've lived for a long time
But now, we see unity
This violence was starting to make hostility
But rather, it's created a loving community
People coming together to clean up the streets
To donate their clothes as gifts to replace those lost in the heats
Of the blazing fires these young ones don't think about
That's Christ's light that shining through the city
People getting to work - no time wasted, we're caring and showing pity
For the people who got the worst
Even by a little, everyone in Church
Being the Body of Christ are being in one accord
Using the sword to act out their faith
That sword is the Word
They see it's absurd
They came out to prayer
To show that they cared
For the people who were scared
To let them know that we're there
And that Christ is watching over them
Evil won't have us ensnared

It's got to stop - what's the point in all this?
Thinking that it's "bliss"?
We need to show forgiveness
And not bear invitation to ignorance
But it's wrong. It's not civil
It's cruel and it's evil
Darkness wants to rise and to make light hide
It's not going to work, because we'll make that rise
The enemy will fall - it won't withstand
The power of God's hand
Look to the sky because our Hope is way higher
We're seeking His face to let Him know its our desire
To make sure these people are safe
That they seek God's face
And believe He's taking Himself and His warriors in place
We don't war like the world, because we don't need to
We rely on JESUS that He'll see us through
The violence will cease
There will be peace
Don't worry victims, the Light will increase
God's already at work, and we're stepping out
If you need anymore help, just give a shout
As I said, He's sending His people out
We're right by your side people, no doubt

If you're taking part in the riot, please end it now
The law will catch up with you somehow
Stop this hostility and division and calamity and greediness and selfishness
Think about the families
The people around you, who you've been with for so long
Only now, you decide to break everything and think nothing's wrong
Stop the madness, because it won't last
The forces will come against you
Don't take that chance
Please just end it, don't keep sending it around the others to continue
You're detroying what took so much effort to make
Just stop all the riots for the people of London's sake


God is already working with His people - He hears the prayers and is bringing the peace. I encourage you to send this around, because although it's not going to last long, I'm not taking this situation as a joke and I'm going to show support any way I can. This isn't for me - This is support for the victims and a plea to those encouraging it.

God Is

God is - The Sovereign
The true ruler of Earth
He has the authority
In Him is... No - God HIMSELF is the remedy
He has the power to get rid of anything not of Him
We should always go to God first
But we may still need other people's counsel
The counsel of those walking WITH Him
Seek Him with everything. Keep Him first place

God is - Hope for the Hopeless
Through His begotten Son, Jesus Christ
Who suffered the most cruel death
Many beatings & scars among His hands, head & chest
Shedding His blood from the cross so that we could be cleansed
Have eternal rest
To live & serve Him in the Kingdom
The best & only one to live for

God is - LOVE
Out of love, He gave His Son
Out of love, He was put through the worst persecution
Out of love, He was sent to DIE for us
Because of love, He was raised from the dead
Death had no power of Him
God is the most powerful, the Most Mighty, the Most High
Neither you or I can take that place
We don't deserve it, but His grace & blessings surround us
Out of love, He's willing to justify us from sin
Out of our love TO Him, we repent & believe
Out of His love for US, He holds us up & guides us the right way
The ONLY way. Through Jesus. To take us Home.

All you could ever need is in Jesus
Faith & Repentance. Rebirth. He's very much near us
He returns very soon. We must embrace how He teaches
Trust in Him everyone - GOD Is & He never ceases
